Recovery Residence

We are dedicated to guiding men facing addiction towards freedom through a personal relationship with Christ.

Our Mission

The Blake House is a 10-month recovery residence. We are an organization dedicated to regenerating men, providing refuge, and inspiring hope. Our mission is to create a safe space where men can heal, grow, and thrive. Through our program and support, we aim to empower individuals to rediscover their strength, purpose, and potential through a personal relationship with Christ. Together, we strive to foster a community of connection, compassion, and communion. Our mission is not to "treat" addiction. It is to be a "home" for men to work on recovery and their relationship with God.

How lives were changed.

“I have been serving in recovery work for 22 years. The Blake House is at the top of my list of where I send people. If you were looking for true life, change as you battle addiction and a broken life, without question you need to go here. Their staff their facility, and the program structure is the best in the business.”

Rand - Congregational Pastor at Church of The Apostles

“Our experience of the Blake House has been extremely positive. One resident said, "God is truly here". They treat people like men, and reward and buffer those who are serious about recovery. The community is challenging, supportive and close.”

Nancy - Family of former resident

“I went through the program, and it has truly shown me so much about myself that I didn’t see before. It led me to learn how to love others, live a healthy lifestyle, and ultimately helped me develop an intimate relationship with God. My life has completely changed. If you want help for an addiction, this place helps you find way more than what you're looking for. It has truly given me so much more than I imagined.”

Jacob Camp - The Blake House Graduate

“I Feel like God has given me a second chance. He’s always been there, but I really feel his presence more than ever. I’m just trying to abide.”

Define yourself radically as one beloved by God. This is the true self. Every other identity is an illusion.’’

 Our Values

  • Servanthood

In our addiction, we serve only one person: ourselves. Jesus was the one true servant to the entire world. We follow in the footsteps of his disciples, called to serve one another as Jesus did for his church.

    1 Peter 4:10

  • Relationship with Christ

Jesus is a relational God. He calls us not only to be in a relationship with our heavenly father but for us to be in a relationship with one another.

    Luke 10:27

  • Family

Family reconciliation is an important part of our program. We encourage our men and families to set healthy boundaries while working through the damage done during the addiction.

    Exodus 20:12

  • Transparency

Transparency and vulnerability are what Christ embodied during his time in ministry. We believe that Jesus left us a blueprint for how to have healthy relationships with others through vulnerability

    Matthew 5:8

  • Empathy

As former addicts, everyone here can empathize and have compassion for where you are when you are lost and broken.

    John 11:35

  • Forgiveness

We are called to receive God’s forgiveness for ourselves and give that forgiveness to others.

    Matthew 18:21-22

  • Accountability

Paul tells us that if we speak the truth in love we will “grow up” into the head that is Christ. We speak the truth in love and play a crucial role for one another as accountability. This is not only a biblical principle accountability is a huge part of recovery and the 12 steps.

    Matthew 18:15-17
